Cheese Melts / Planters / Mugs / Bowls Workshop

Come and join us for a very enjoyable evening making some beautiful and unique pieces for your home. We have teamed up with Tia Haynes from The Milk Press to bring you a creative evening hand building your own cheese melts, planters, mugs or bowls (choose 2) from a cream speckled clay.
In this 2.5 hour workshop, you will create 2 pieces (choose two pieces to make from cheese melts, planters, mugs or bowls).
Tia will guide you through the slab building method to build your pieces. There will also be cutters available to decorate your pieces, as well as colourful glazes.
After the workshop, your items will be taken to The Milk Press pottery studio where they will be slow-dried, bisque fired (900 degrees), waxed & glazed, and high fired (1200 degrees). Your items will then be packaged up and ready for collection from Punnet within 4 - 6 weeks of the workshop (you will receive an email advising).
All materials and tools needed to create your items are included in the workshop cost.
Although clay washes out of fabric and won’t stain clothes, we suggest bringing along an apron (if you have one) and a small towel.
This workshop is designed for beginners, while still being suitable for those with clay experience.
