Christmas Serving Bowl and Decoration Workshop

Come and join us for a very enjoyable evening making a beautiful and unique Christmas themed bowl and some decorations. Our bowl workshops have been so popular that we have decided to make Christmas themed bowls.

Come and join us for a very enjoyable evening making some beautiful and unique Christmas pieces. We have teamed up with Tia Haynes from The Milk Press to bring you a creative evening hand building your own serving bowl and Christmas Decorations.
In this 2.5 hour workshop (6.30pm - 9.00pm) you will create 1 serving bowl and up to 3 decorations.
Tia will guide you through the slab building method to building your serving bowl. There will also be stamps and cutters available to decorate your piece, as well as colourful underglaze and a choice of lovely glazes. Tia will also demonstrate how to roll clay and cut decorations and explain all the different decorating and painting techniques.
All tools and materials will be provided. A speckled clay will be used for this workshop.
Things to bring:
Although clay washes out of fabric and won’t stain clothes, we suggest bringing along an apron (if you have one)
A small towel.
This workshop is designed for beginners, while still being suitable for those with clay experience.
After the workshop, your creations will be taken to The Milk Press pottery studio where they will be slow-dried, bisque fired (900 degrees), clear glazed, and high fired (1200 degrees). Your items will then be packaged up and ready for collected from Punnet prior to Christmas.
Please note you don’t need a physical ticket- simply just turn up on the night!
